Join me for a short New Years themed brick series. Students will watch a short (less than 2 mins) video then race against the clock to create their builds, lastly share them with their peers. Costumes/ New Years hats/glasses welcome!
Class experience
This class is similar to the wildly popular TV show where contestants race to make creative brick builds based on a secret challenge. Students will meet in this limited short series to complete a New Years themed build. At the start of class, students will be given a surprise theme ) and shown a quick brick based video based on the theme. The teacher will spend about two-three minutes discussing the theme and giving some building tips and suggestions. Students will then be given 20 minutes to...
Students will think outside of the box, concentrate for a sustained time, and improve social skills. They will practice time management and public speaking as they share their creations.
I currently offer a series of brick building clubs on OutSchool, many running since 2020 I have experience building with children in enrichment settings.
