Beginner Level
In this lesson, Students will learn vocabulary in Spanish covering several topics Including the airport, family, greetings, animals, the body, health, and many more! The class will be structured around a game called Blooket.com. I will share my power point to teach the vocabulary and then when we go to play the game, each student will have a turn to share his/her screen with me and I will help them maneuver through the game while also teaching them certain commands, vocabulary about animals and food that they will use to sell the food to the animals and other clients. The questions recycle during the game, so if the student happens to miss the answer the first or second time around, he/she will have another opportunity to try to get the answer right. This constant review throughout the game is what helps the students remember what the Spanish words mean. This class is very interactive and each student will be able to have a friendly competition with the other students in the class. The learner must already know how to read. No previous Spanish needed

My name is Nicole Ramirez. I have been teaching on Outschool since October 2020 and I love it! I have a Masters in Teaching Foreign Languages with an emphasis in Spanish and French. I have been speaking Spanish for over 20 years and I have been teaching it at the college level for the past 9 years.
