This is a beginner Spanish Immersion class that will be taught primarily in Spanish. Translation to English is available throughout the class when deemed necessary to help the learner understand the content of the lesson. We will use a variety of activities such as ice breaker games, videos, songs, and stories. Assessments are done on an ongoing basis throughout the lessons in class and details can be provided as per parent request. If you would like to receive a detailed assessment of your child's progress, please advise the classroom teacher upon enrolment. Assessments are done as: -reading comprehension -pronunciation -asking questions -through conversations Please note that assessments are offered to casual learners and learners who complete the full course. If there is a specific topic you would like an assessment on regarding your learner, please advise the teacher.Grades Offered
Grades can be provided as per parent request. If you would like your child to be graded and to receive a formal report card at the end of this term, please advise the classroom teacher upon enrolment. Please note that report card requests are for students who complete all 10 lessons.
