This class is taught in Spanish.

In our 7x a week Spanish 101 Beginner's Course for Children, our main goal is to provide a solid foundation in the Spanish language through interactive and engaging lessons. By the end of the course, students will be able to:

Greet and introduce themselves in Spanish
Recognize and pronounce the Spanish alphabet
Count from 1 to 100 and use basic math expressions in Spanish
Identify and describe basic colors, animals, and everyday objects
Use basic verbs in the present tense to talk about daily routines, hobbies, and sports
Describe family members and use possessive adjectives to talk about possessions
Order food in a restaurant and describe meals and preferences
Ask for and give directions, describe locations, and use basic travel vocabulary
Describe the weather and talk about seasonal activities
Describe people, places, and things using basic adjectives
Use basic phrases and expressions to talk about school, jobs, and professions
Describe holidays and celebrations and talk about customs and traditions
Throughout the course, learners will also have the opportunity to practice their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in a supportive and interactive environment. By the end of the course, students will have a solid foundation in the Spanish language that will allow them to continue to build their skills and communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking communities.

Naomi is an experienced and engaging teacher with over 5 years of experience teaching Spanish to children of all ages and levels. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications and is a native Spanish speaker with an in-depth understanding of the language and culture. Naomi brings her passion for teaching and her knowledge of Spanish to every class, creating a fun and interactive learning experience for her students.

Homework Offered
Homework assignments will vary and may include activities such as vocabulary practice, reading comprehension exercises, writing prompts, and simple conversation practice. The amount of time required to complete homework will depend on the specific assignment, but we aim to keep it manageable and engaging for learners.
