Beginner Level
Students will learn the basics of ChatGPT and how to write an effective prompt. Students will learn how to research using the tool, analyze their own writing, and other quick tips that they can utilize AI to be more effective in the classroom. The class is a one hour class that will cover all of these topics through a presentation, hands on trials, and feedback on individual results. I am a hands on teacher. I will walk through every component of the tool and tasks with each student. Learners can ask questions at pretty much anytime during the class and I will give them the best answer possible!

This class will be hands on and instructional. All needs will be met with this class.
Parental Guidance
Nothing will be scary to the classmates. We will be using a third party tool called ChatGPT. You can access this tool at chatgpt.com. Having an account is not necessary, however, in order to save your chats, you need to sign in. This, again is not necessary. If you decide your student should have an account (you can track their chat history this way), then they will need access to an email account. Regardless, students will access the tool by going to the website and going through the steps that I provide. Feel free to ask questions if this does not make sense. I look forward to seeing your student!

No pre-reqs are required, however, if you create an account on chatgpt prior, it would save your work for you.
