An experienced educator, IT trainer, and consultant whose work recently includes artificial intelligence, Mr. LeCara brings a wealth of knowledge to the classroom. Homework Offered
Home activities will include, but will not be limited to: -responding to brief reading selections ahead of next session -reflections in discussions, reading, experiences -ideation and design -independent exploration of material/concepts covered in class

Per Outschool's policy, parental consent is required for all of the following sites except for Duolingo and Scratch. It's important to note that most of these sites will only be mentioned in class or used to demonstrate the session's content.  Learners will then have the opportunity to explore them on their own.

The sites listed below are not mandatory for learning in this course; they are only meant for exploration. If learners and their families already use equivalent sites, they are free to explore course concepts using the sites and resources with which they are already familiar and comfortable.

Please be aware that Google offers Bard, an experimental conversational AI chat service. Unlike ChatGPT, Bard utilizes the Internet to retrieve answers. Due to this, Bard is only accessible to individuals 18 and older. This age limit comes from Google, not Outschool. Because of this, Google's Bard will not be used in our class.
