This is not a live course. This is a FLEX COURSE. The classes are prerecorded and can be taken at whatever time works best for you and your children. This course is designed to teach learners the fundamentals of chess. There is no prior experience required as the course is designed for beginners. My teaching style is to break down the fundamentals of chess in ways that are fun and easy to understand. Learners will watch pre-recorded lessons. They are usually about 30 minutes in length. ...

I will be using the chess.com platform to pre record lessons. This will be done using the screen share feature on zoom. Learners are not required to use chess.com as they can use a physical chess board or any chess app that their parental guardian feels is appropriate in order to follow along with the lesson. Chess.com or chesskid.com are recommended however. Parental guardians can set up an account for their children if they would like. Both of these platforms are FREE!
