Students will be given an overview presentation about the species and care of Red-eared slider turtles. We will cover topics like their temperment, where they are from, why they are called "red-eared," basic care when a pet, how long they live, etc. After students will be able to meet three turtles named Sushi, Lucy, and Honeys and ask questions about them. If time allows, I will invite students to draw a picture of the three turtles on their own drawing paper. Sushi, Lucy, and Honeys like to talk with each other, bask under a heat lamp. They enjoy eating red shrimp as often as they can.
