Your student can sign up during any week, as each week is a different topic and prior weeks are not perquisites for future weeks. So again, you do NOT need to wait until week one. *Unless there is an emergency I do not mind teaching a class with only 1 student in it. So there is no need to worry about me canceling for that reason. **This class is actually great for students between 8-18. However the most popular age is between 10-16. **** If you have never signed up for an Outschool class, send me a message and I might be able to save you up to $20 off of your first class.

Teacher expertise and credentials
2 Degrees
Bachelor's Degree from University of Arizona Global Campus - Formally Ashford University
Associate's Degree from Ashford University
My knowledge and experience comes from my college education, and actually starting and running several small businesses.
I hold the following degrees:
Associates of Arts in Business
Bachelor of Arts in Personal Finance
Bachelor of Arts in Entrepreneurship
And right now pursuing a BA in Emergency Management
I have been an entrepreneur since I was 5 years old.
When I was 5 to about 10 years old I would make arts and crafts and go around to my neighbors houses and sell them.
From 10 to 18 years old I had a landscaping company, with 2 other employees, where I made substantially more money then friends of mine that were working at grocery stores, and other common teenage jobs.
As an adult I also started and ran for about 7 years a business consulting company where I would help people think of and start small businesses. Everything from their business plan, to marketing, and launching.
My most successful business that I ran after the Coast Guard, was a cleaning company. I owned and operated this business with an annual budget of about $450,000, for a little over 10 years. I had 5 employees, and we provided commercial and residential cleaning. I decided to close the business down during COVID, because I lost most of my clients, and at the same time I wanted a change in my life, and some health reasons, unfortunately. But I definitely learned a lot from the mistakes that I made and the things I did right.
Right now, I am in the "Business Plan Development" phase of starting a live, in person Wilderness Training School.
Having an array of wonderful entrepreneurial knowledge has also helped me develop fun, interesting, and popular classes on Outschool. Where everything I teach comes from my own ideas.
