US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this one-time class, we will read the book “The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin” by Joe Troiano. After the story we will determine and discuss the theme, or the lesson from the story that can be applied to your own life. After we have read and discussed the story we will make our very own square pumpkin! We will practice our cutting skills by cutting several squares, a leaf and a pumpkin stem. Then we will glue everything together to make our own Spookley. If time allows we will share our pumpkins and create a fun name for our own pumpkins! Of course, if your child chooses not to share their pumpkin that is completely okay!
