The Cooking Club for Jr Chefs ~ In this weekly cooking class students will learn to make some easy but delicious meals, snacks, desserts and drinks. Students should be familiar in the kitchen with appliances (oven/stove settings, blender/mixer settings, etc). We will discuss proper food handling and safety precautions. This class is a LIVE cooking class and I make the recipes with the learners to show technique and proper instruction. One recipe will be posted each week on the classroom page...

Ingredients list will be posted 2 weeks before class. Kitchen supplies needed: Muffin pan Cookie pan Loaf pan Cake pan Blender Mixing bowls Measuring cups Measuring spoons Knife for cutting Cutting board Can opener Hand mixer Skillet with lid

Students will be using a blender/mixer, the oven/stove top and a cutting board/sharp knife for all classes. Supervision is always suggested when kids are working in the kitchen preparing foods. If you feel your child needs additional help, some meal prep can be done before class. Please let me know ahead of time if you have any questions or concerns. Food allergies - we will be using nuts and dairy products in some of our recipes. Should you need to use a food substitute, please let me know and I can modify the recipe for you.
