DNA Extraction Science Lab

In this hands-on science class, elementary students will become junior scientists as they extract DNA from strawberries! Using simple household materials, students will learn step-by-step how to break open cells and see the DNA that makes strawberries unique. They’ll explore the fascinating world of genetics while discovering that DNA is the blueprint of all living things.

Through this interactive experiment, students will not only witness the physical strands of DNA but also learn about its role in heredity and how it’s found in every living organism. CLASS POLICIES

Refund Policy:

We strictly adhere to Outschool's refund/reschedule policy for all of our classes. This means that once a class has been paid for, there will be no deviation from Outschool's guidelines. We do not offer refunds or rescheduling outside of what Outschool allows. 

Camera Policy:

All students are required to keep their camera turned on during the entire class. The only exception is those that have been verified by Outschool and have the verification badge.
