In this 5 day course, we will create gorgeous sticker designs together using the Procreate app for the iPad or iPhone.

Some images are shown in the cover image above. These images are inspired by Pinterest. In this class, we will use the monoline brush, create multiple layers, and use the symmetry tool. Students require a basic knowledge of Procreate, including knowing where the color palette is, where the brushes are, and where layers are. Students will start class with a getting to know one another and gaining comfort. Students will also have the opportunity to share art at the beginning and end of class. Following introductions, I will mirror my Procreate screen on Zoom and teach students step-by-step how to create stickers. Learners can interact with myself and with one another throughout class! I am a patient, fun, creative, interactive, and kind teacher who is super excited to create art with you! I will also share some websites to have your stickers printed if you are interested. Students will learn about the following techniques/functions and more throughout this class: -Drawing Assist -Layers -Magic wand tool -Quick Shapes -Quick Fill A possible schedule (subject to change pending on time it takes to complete projects) is outlined below: Day 1: Introductions, share art, create bubble gum sticker, share art Day 2: Share art, create a boba cup sticker, share art Day 3: Share art, create a heart hot air balloon sticker, share art Day 4: Share art, create a strawberry boba sticker, share art Day 5: Share art, create a cherry boba sticker/your own sticker, share art **Procreate on the iPad or iPhone is required for this class. Welcome! If you are looking for a friendly, kind, patient, and interactive teacher for your children, you have come to the right place. I'm so excited you are here! I am looking forward to engaging with your children and teaching digital art.
I have been a school psychologist in various school settings since 2013. As a school psychologist, I evaluate cognitive, academic, social/emotional and behavioral strengths and needs of children in order to help them learn. So, I have extensive experience working with neurodivergent students. I graduated from Temple University with an Educational Specialist Degree (Masters+45 Credits) in School Psychology, and I attended Penn State University for my undergraduate degree in Psychology with a Business focus. While in college, I took numerous art education courses. I have led various social/emotional groups for children in schools, and I have also taught art and drama classes at a summer camp. I am passionate about working with children and families. I am creative and art has been a hobby of mine growing up. I have experience with numerous art mediums, and I have worked with preschool through twelfth grade students. I believe in the power of using art to gain social-emotional skills.
I value getting to know all students I work with, learning names, and ensuring that all students are happy and engaged. I believe all students can learn, and I am very inclusive and loving towards all students I work with.
I have an eleven-year-old lab/terrier mix pup who I love, and she may make a personal introduction during our sessions! I enjoy exploring countries and learning about different cultures; I have been to Israel, Greece, Canada, and Mexico, and I lived in Michigan before moving to Pennsylvania. Can't wait to work with you and your children!
