Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 1
Beginner Level
UNLOCK THE JOY OF READING! If you are looking for a class to help your child start reading, this class is for them. In this class, students will read together to work on sight words, phonics, spelling, and writing.

We know how important reading skills are in school and life. Start their journey today and build a foundation for lifelong learning. Use code LEARN9L4PX5 to save $5 today!

This class is designed to help students learn to read and write word families (CVC ), sight words, and practice beginning reading skills (short repetitive sentences). Think of this class as a small reading group at school. This class is interactive and engaging for all students. Each class will begin with a short "chat" time and then we quickly move into our three new sight words and the new word family. While learning word families students will practice writing, spelling, and sounding out the words. We wrap up class by reading sentences together using our new words.

Students will need paper and pencil for this class or a whiteboard and marker.

In our classes, our motto is Practice Makes Progress! So the learning does not stop after class is complete. We provide additional practice to help students reinforce and review the skills taught.

Since this is a small group, each student will get individual attention. This also allows us to evaluate and assist each student with phonics and fluency.

We meet each student where they are academically to build skills and confidence. We are friendly, patient, and encouraging teachers. In this class, students will have fun while learning.

Students must know all letters and letter sounds.

This class repeats every 12 weeks.
