Intermediate - Advanced Level
In this weekly class, learners will collaborate to extract ichor from machines and support each other in advancing through as many levels as possible in the engaging game, Dandy's World. Along the way, they can gather research on the Twisteds they encounter while trying not to be tagged by them. This class is designed for experienced players, with at least floor 15 completed. Class will be 90 minutes long to allow for higher floors to be reached. The goal is to create a balanced team with distractors, extractors, healers and support players. Communication skills and teamwork are necessary for success in this survival-horror game. I’ll be participating alongside the class. We will aim to reach higher floors and gather research on the Main Twisteds. If players already have all of the Main Twisteds, we can choose to play different types of runs such as Nightmare Runs. If players are eliminated early, they can choose to either spectate or start a new round, while the remaining players attempt to complete more floors. This gives everyone the opportunity to play additional rounds during the session. Breakout rooms will be used to allow learners to start new rounds without being interrupted by ongoing games. I will moderate both rooms to ensure smooth gameplay for all participants.

Parental Guidance
Common Sense Media rates Roblox age 13. Dandy's World is rated Ages 9+ due to it being a survival-horror game. Players receive three hearts and lose one each time they encounter a Twisted while trying to complete machines and escape each floor. The characters are cartoons and there is no blood or violence. I provide private servers so your child will only be playing with other Outschool learners with me as a coach to assist with kind, inclusive and respectful play.
Learners need a Roblox account, and the Roblox App. Guardians must provide permission for their enrolled student to share their Roblox player information. Please message me your learner's Roblox username so that I can send them a friend request, before class. We will need to be friends for the duration of class.
Pre-Requisites
Players need experience playing Dandy's World with a completion of at least 15 floors.
Supply List
For the best experience, it is recommended that two devices be used for this class. One device for the Outschool Zoom meeting and a second device for Roblox. However, it is possible to use tabs if gaming on a laptop/desktop or if a second device is not available. Gamers will need a Roblox account and the Roblox app set up before class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
