Class Experience
In this one-time or weekly Private 1:1 class, learners will follow along with me to create a step-by-step guided digital painting of their choice! Please see my "Artwork Catalog!" to choose a guided digital art tutorial! * Please Note: This is a 25-minute session. There is also a 55-minute session available (link below). Learners are all unique and may progress at different speeds. * We will start by color blocking all the major shapes, using the various application tools, then we will refine the shapes by adding Clipping Masks, Layers, and various texture brushes! Learners should have enough time to add their own elements to make this digital painting truly their own! We will work step-by-step together to create this artwork, and at the end your learner will have an opportunity to be Spotlighted to share their work with me. All comments will be positive and uplifting! Additionally, some learners prefer not to share in class, and they may send their artwork afterwards in Conversations. If they do so, I will write back with positive, uplifting feedback. If a learner doesn't prefer to talk during class, they can use basic gestures like thumbs up/down or head nods and shakes. This class is perfect for learners who are totally new to the Procreate application OR those who have used the app some on their own, but would like guided step-by-step instructions to complete a finished digital painting with 1:1 attention. My name is Rachel and I teach drawing, painting, sketching, and animating using the Procreate app on iPad. Learners may join with another drawing application or traditional materials, whatever they prefer!*
My family consists of my husband, a cat, and a big doggo! :)

*For lessons that include "Procreate" in the description, the application is a requirement of the class.
Except for 2D Animation Club, if a learner is confident in another animation application they may choose to join with it. However, I will not be troubleshooting other apps during these lessons.
