Within our classroom, we will also hold group discussions each week. Students will submit brainstorming ideas, comment on fellow students' ideas, ask questions and hold writing instruction discussions with the teacher and fellow classmates. Students will use the Outschool classroom posting feature for submitting their required discussion topics. Final note: Students will be able to access the forum at any time during the course. This will allow students from various world locations to have the chance to write a Pokemon Paragraph and spend time with Pokemon like-minded students.
After the success of the live version of this class, my goal is to provide the same high-quality, engaging learning experience in a flex class. I assure you, this class is full of engagement! My educational goal is to enable your student to become engaged in grammar through a common theme - Pokemon. By tapping into your learner's Pokemon enthusiasm, they are active and engaged in their learning process. I have taught over 4,000 Outschool students, and logged more than 800 Outschool teaching hours, in engaging, educational, and inspiring themed English Language courses. I am a certified Tennessee K-6th grade teacher. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English, Communications, and Print Media. You will find more about my Outschool teaching journey on various media outlets, including CBS New York, Business Insider, and the American Board for Teacher Excellence. I respond promptly to all messages and conversations initiated by learners and their parents.
Homework Offered
Final paragraphs will be submitted via the Classroom and/or Teacher communication section within our classroom. Teacher review of written work is submitted to learners by Sunday on all written work submitted the prior Friday.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
This writing prompt class is meant to inspire your students to write. Spelling and grammatical errors are going to be made, and guess what, that is fine! My goal is to enable your students to enter into the writing process without fear and have fun! This flexible scheduled class is a great fit for Pokemon-Fan who is an emerging and/or reluctant writer and emerging confident writer as well. Prior knowledge of paragraph writing is helpful, but not necessary, as these are skills we will be working on within our sessions. The goal of Pokemon Themed Paragraph Flex class is to engage the new, emerging and reluctant writers as they master the writing process and build their writing confidence. This class will focus on the writing process and paragraph structure, grammar and spelling corrections are noted in submitted paragraphs as needed.Grades Offered
