Self-Paced Disney Villains Clay Sculpting Course: Maleficent, Ursula, Cruella, Evil Queen In this self-paced course, students will learn how to sculpt four iconic Disney Villains: Maleficent, Ursula, Cruella de Vil, and the Evil Queen. Prior clay experience is recommended, as the course includes small, detailed parts that will challenge students to improve their sculpting skills. Course Details: Audio & Video Lessons: Clear, step-by-step guidance through each villain sculpture. No Live Meetings: Complete the lessons at your own pace and interact with the teacher in the conversation tab. Sculpting Focus: Each lesson covers a different Disney Villain for students to craft in clay. Weekly Breakdown: Lesson 1: Sculpt Maleficent – Master the iconic horns and details of this dark fairy. Lesson 2: Sculpt Ursula – Bring this sea witch to life with intricate features. Lesson 3: Sculpt Cruella de Vil – Learn to create the sophisticated yet wicked Cruella. Lesson 4: Sculpt the Evil Queen – Perfect the facial features and regal look of this villain. This course is perfect for Disney fans and aspiring sculptors alike, with plenty of opportunity to practice and showcase your work. Students are encouraged to post their sculptures via the conversation tab in OutSchool for feedback and collaboration. Suggested Supplies: Polymer Bake Clay (any brand you prefer, for reference I use Sculpey) Colors are listed below. Basic Sculpting tools, cutting tool, toothpick or pointed tool, small rolling pin or paintbrush handle, dotting tool (for eye sockets) A Baking sheet covered with parchment paper (don’t bake directly on it) A non stick surface to work on Variety of colors of polymer clay (including skin tone, white, black) Black GLASS 6/0 size seed beads or 6mm round beads for eyes (otherwise black clay) Wooden toothpicks/cocktail sticks for supports (cut in half, will need 4) OPTIONAL: Clear Water-Based Gloss or Sculpey Gloss Glaze for after baking Maleficent (skin tone or pale green, black, purple, red) Ursula (pale purple, black, white, red, turquoise, gold) Evil Queen (skin tone, black, purple, red, gold, white) Cruella (skin tone, black, white, red, light green) **Polymer clay requires baking according to the package direction. She worked in different areas of the design industry since 1991, from illustration, pattern making, garment construction to designing full story boards for buyers. She tutors Fashion Illustration to help other students complete their professional portfolios before their interviews. Lori is also a Polymer Clay artist, Graphic Designer and Illustrator.
