One on One Piano Lessons

This online course will utilize lecture, discussion with the instructor, modeling, and activities  and games from the Faber Piano Adventures curriculum to teach musical concepts. I am informal in my teaching style and believe children should be offered dignity at every age and stage. Friendly conversation and rapport are my greatest tools for transmitting musical knowledge that sticks and building a student teacher relationship that works. We will cover music reading, notation, rhythm and beat, tempo, dynamics, proper technique, and a variety of musical styles. Weekly practice is expected and having access to an instrument is necessary. You will also need to purchase books prior to your first lesson.
