Assessment
Assessments play a crucial role in this class by helping to identify each child's baseline level and identify specific learning needs. These assessments guide the personalized instruction and allow for tracking progress over time.Class Experience
US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 3
Beginner - Intermediate Level
Learning sessions will focus on improving reading skills through personalized, research-based instruction, utilizing a multi-sensory approach. Topics covered may include phonics, fluency, comprehension, and decoding strategies, tailored to your child's instructional level and interests. Each session will be structured to provide a balanced mix of direct instruction, guided practice, and independent activities. My teaching style is highly individualized, using each child's preferred learning style, strengths, and areas of interest to tailor my approach. Learners will engage with me through a variety of interactive methods, including games, slides, reading practice, and discussions while being mindful of each child's energy level and allowing for learning through movement or "brain breaks." Each session will be interactive and a safe space for questions and personalized feedback, ensuring every child receives the attention and support they need to succeed. My sessions aim to create a supportive and effective learning environment that boosts reading skills, confidence, and a positive academic experience for all learners.
