Assessment
I will informally assess learner progress by observing their completion of drawings throughout and at the end of each class, while also leaving time for student questions and extra demonstrations. 🌈Welcome, artists, to Realistic Portrait and Figure Drawing Club!🌈

*this class is for 7-11 year olds* check out my other Realistic Drawing Club for older learners on my profile

🎨This is a safe and supportive space for learners who want to strengthen their realistic drawing skills, create beautiful artworks, and add more impressive works to their sketchbooks.

At the start of each class, Teacher Monica will introduce the topic and reference photo which will also be posted in the classroom ahead of time. There will be a short time for students to share their names, a favorite artwork they've created or answer a fun question-of-the-day! After that we'll start with the lesson content where students will follow step-by-step directions by Teacher Monica.

Along the way, Teacher Monica will also share simple tips and tricks that you can add to your drawing tool kit. Such as, learning to "draw what you see," observing simple shapes, observing value, and measuring anything with your own pencil!

🎨This club is for beginning artists who have never drawn before, as well as intermediate artists who are looking to step up their art skills and challenge their artistic eye.

🎨So what do we draw?
