While researching content for this class, I make an effort to collaborate with friends of mine who are Japanese. I look for sources that are written by people from Japan and/or who are well-qualified to speak about the topic. I lived and worked in Japan for two years. My intention is to share what I have learned about Japan with students in a way that is respectful of Japanese culture and traditions.
