Students will learn zoo animals and learn the zoo animals names. Students will play a game called "Who am I?" to practice the zoo animal names. I will introduce zoo animals with pictures. I will practice the zoo animal vocabulary. I will practice the sounds and what letter the zoo animals start with. I will play a guessing game. I will read a short story and give time for your learner to read too! This lesson will also include links to you tube to watch on your own time "Blippi goes to the zoo" and "Animal Freeze and Dance". This lesson will include hand outs or worksheets to practice writing, reading and colouring the zoo animals. This lesson will include craft instructions if you desire to create your own zoo animals. This lesson will have lessons that go with it in the future. E.g. Farm animals, Ocean animals, etc. This lesson is great for toddlers who are learning to speak . This lesson is designed for students who are English as a Second Language.

Four years ago, After a couple decades of teaching in some beautiful schools with amazing students, I decided to make a change. I left behind the "brick and mortar" schools for the online school community. I could not be happier. The online school community still has beautiful schools with amazing students.
I am so happy I made the change. I love teaching or tutoring online. I love connecting with students. I love using games, stories and props to teach students English, Math and English as a Second Language.
I love seeing children learn at their pace. I love seeing the confidence boost in children when they succeed. I love hearing how my lessons have helped children all over the world.
I love that Outschool has provided amazing teachers with amazing children so we can all learn and grow together.

I am a Child and Youth Worker, Educational Assistant, Instructor for the Blind and Visually Impaired and an instructor for autistic children. I also am TESOL certified.
