ESL friendly. 🔹 Week of 2/9/24 - Monkey Puzzle 🔹 Week of 9/9/24 - A Squash and a Squeeze 🔹 Week of 16/9/24 - Superworm 🔹 Week of 23/9/24 - Tabby McTat 🔹 Week of 30/9/24 - The Gruffalo 🔹 Week of 7/10/24 - Room on the Broom 🔹 Week of 14/10/24 - The Snail and the Whale 🔹 Week of 21/10/24 - The Gruffalo's Child 🔹 Week of 28/10/24 - Charlie Cook's Favourite Book 🔹 Week of 4/11/24 - Stick Man 🔹 Week of 11/11/24 - The Smartest Giant in Town 🔹 Week of 18/11/24 - Zog Further themes will be added. Learners can join the class at any point. This is an ongoing course so each class stands alone. We focus on a different theme from the books each week whilst developing comprehension skills, grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing. Learners can join the class no matter how much of the series they have read. Each week will include a range of teaching activities including reading out loud, videos, discussions, activity sheets, Q+A, slides and more. Parental Guidance
Please note, this is an English language class. This is not a 'read along' class. Our own teaching materials are used to teach learners during this course. The focus of the classes is to develop language including, phonics, vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, fluency and writing skills.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
