In this one-session class, we’ll spend time reading the classic O. Henry Christmas story, The Gift of the Magi. We'll also discuss literary themes and surprising story conclusions present in the tale, create an original, interactive notebook to color, and celebrate the season together. O. Henry's The Gift of the Magi is a story for the ages, spanning time and place, and even different holiday traditions. Sharpen your colored pencils, brew a mug of something hot and tasty to drink, wear your comfiest holiday slippers, and invite a friend to sign up, too!

For this course, a copy of the book is not necessary since I'll be reading the story aloud. I will be uploading a fun interactive 3-page download for your learners to download. Check the classroom for this prior to class! You will also want to have something to color with: colored pencils, markers, or crayons are all excellent choices.
