Teacher expertise and credentials
As someone who grew up along the beautiful Oregon Coast, my deep love for the ocean and its incredible creatures has been a lifelong passion. This enthusiasm led me to teach youth classes at Twin Rocks Outdoor School for two years, focusing on tide pools and ocean habitats. I’m excited to share this fascination with your child and help them explore the wonders of marine life!

With over 14 years of experience working with children, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a preschool teacher, church youth leader, 4-H adviser, and homeschooling parent for more than 11 years. I also hold specialized training in early childhood education, working with children with special needs, and supporting at-risk youth.

I am passionate about creating engaging, supportive, and fun learning environments where students not only succeed but feel empowered to explore their natural curiosity. Your child will thrive as they dive into marine biology and build their understanding of the ocean's fascinating creatures! 🌊
