Intermediate Level
This class will focus on reviewing the most often missed topics in Algebra 2. Not taken the class and want to get a head start OR taken the class but feel you need additional practice? Either way, this is the class for you. We will take a step-by-step approach to each topic. Lesson 1: Functions Lesson 2: Operations, Composition and Transformations of Functions Lesson 3: Absolute Value Equations Lesson 4: Absolute Value Inequalities and Radical Expressions Lesson 5: Radical Expressions, Equations, and Complex Numbers Lesson 6: Quadratic Equations Lesson 7: Quadratic Inequalities, Rational Expressions and Equations Lesson 8: Rational Inequalities and Partial Fractions, Preparing for Precalculus **See Syllabus for complete lesson breakdown.** Students will have access to the following materials: • Student workbook for each lesson to keep learning organized. • Students are encouraged to take down notes in the provided workbook. • Additional examples with step-by-step written solutions will be available for download. • Additional practice questions with answers are also available for download. • Each lesson has an optional discussion question. • The teacher will be contributing to discussion question up to 8 weeks from start. There are no live meetings, but students should prepare to spend 2-4 hours per week completing the course, and 4-8 hours per week if turning in additional practice questions.

Parental Guidance
A few pieces of information:
1. This is a self-paced course, students can enroll and open lessons as it fits their schedule.
2. There are no live classes, materials and videos are already available in each lesson.
3. Materials build on previous lessons, so is important not to skip a lesson.
4. Students are not alone, they can still message the teacher for 8 weeks from start of class
if there have any questions, expect a 24hr delay/response.
5. While there is no homework, additional practice questions with answers will be provided
for the student to continue to practice.
6. A big plus is for students to have taken Algebra 1 before enrolling in this course.
7. Send me a message if you have any additional questions before enrolling.
Pre-Requisites
A big plus if learners have knowledge of Algebra 1 Topics such as Rules of Exponents, Solving Linear Equations and Inequalities, and Factoring Polynomials. However, if needed, we will take time on each video to review these pre-requisites.
Supply List
There are no materials to purchase. All material will be available in the Outschool class, provided by teacher. We will be using FREE Open Educational Resources.
