In this one-time class, live class, we will learn basic taps moves, play rhythm games, and have so much fun together! Tap Shoes not necessary!

Beginner Level
In this one-time, live class, we will learn to make music with our feet! *Tap shoes not required! A basic pair of hard soled shoes will work on a hard floor. We will begin with introductions and some basic rhythm games. Following our introductions, we will begin by learning the parts of our shoes and how the different parts make different noises. We will then begin learning basic tap sounds and how we can put them together to make tap steps. Join me for some tap-dancing FUN!

I teach Movement classes in studio and online as well! I have been teaching dance for 15+ years to all ages (18months - adult) as well as Fitness classes to kids and adults. Dance has been a major part of my life for 32 years and I love bringing that passion to others. I've worked with young and old, special needs, low-impact or injured, wheel-chair bound, and all others!
I believe that Dance/Movement is a rare "sport" that is all-inclusive; gross and fine motor skills, spatial awareness, emotionally stimulating, builds self-confidence, improves discipline & listening skills, and much more.
My family consists of my super supportive husband, my oldest daughter (8) youngest daughter (6), and then the littlest one is 3years old, but he was born 3-1/2 months early. We spent a significant amount of time in the NICU in the city we live in and are forever grateful for modern medicine! Our life has been a rollercoaster and, as crazy as this sounds, I wouldn't have it any other way... mostly. haha!
Being a mama myself, I try to be flexible with my schedule and appreciate the understanding from parents as I navigate our medically complex son's needs as well as two active girls!
