Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 7
This class is designed to help 6th-grade learners review and practice their math skills. The class will cover a range of math concepts designed for 6th-grade learners. There will be three weekly activities. First, an "Error Analysis". Next, "Which One Doesn't Belong?" and third, a mixed review that continually spirals back around to all skills.

Students can join at any time, as the classes do not build upon each other.

Approximately 4-6 weeks will be dedicated to reviewing and practicing the following unit topics. Topics may be adjusted to meet learners' needs or requests.

Unit 1: Ratios and Proportions
Understanding ratios, rates, and proportions.

Unit 2: The Number System
Working with fractions, decimals, and integers.

Unit 3: Expressions and Equations
Evaluating expressions and solving equations.

Unit 4: Geometry
Exploring area, volume, and surface area.

Unit 5: Statistics and Probability
Analyzing data, understanding mean, median, mode, and basic probability.

Unit 6: Functions
Introduction to functions and patterns.
