We will work on reading and spelling.

We will practice spelling in a fun way to use the phonics skills that we have.

We will be adding all the spelling "rules" week by week to practice our reading and spelling.

We will spend the last part of the class with the focus on "math". We will spend a few weeks on the same topic but with different games to review and practice the skill.

We will use a reward system for great behavior and responses.

We will take a "break" by having the student choose an activity of choice half way through the lesson (possibly to promote a movement break).

We will establish an routine for the classroom that works for both student and teacher.

This class can be changed to suit the learner.

Hello Outschool Families,

Four years ago, After a couple decades of teaching in some beautiful schools with amazing students, I decided to make a change. I left behind the "brick and mortar" schools for the online school community. I could not be happier. The online school community still has beautiful schools with amazing students.

I am so happy I made the change. I love teaching or tutoring online. I love connecting with students. I love using games, stories and props to teach students English, Math and English as a Second Language.

I love seeing children learn at their pace. I love seeing the confidence boost in children when they succeed. I love hearing how my lessons have helped children all over the world.

I love that Outschool has provided amazing teachers with amazing children so we can all learn and grow together.

I look forward to helping your students boost their reading, spelling, math and English as a Second Language skills.

Please reach out today if you would like any more information. Be sure to check out my classes.
