Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 8
Beginner Level
Now is the perfect time to learn how to sew!

We'll learn how to operate a sewing machine, cut fabric, and by the end of camp you will have created a super-cute tote!
We will meet twice a week, for two weeks (a total of 4 classes).

This is a "sew along with me" type class. Each class, the instructor will show step-by-step instruction for the project.
Learners will then follow along, working on their project.
Instructor will check the progress before going on to the next step.
If a learner falls behind the pace of the class, the instructor will try to help the learner get caught up during class or may ask the learner to watch the video recording after class.
Instructor provides tips, tricks and advice while the learners work on their project.

Most sewing projects will require minimum supplies and we try to keep supply costs under $10. A sewing machine and basic sewing supplies are needed.

At the conclusion of each meeting, learners may be given a small amount of "homework".

Socialization is highly encouraged throughout the meeting & learners are asked to leave their cameras on and socialize.
The teaching style is casual with lots of fun and laughs!

Sewing Camp welcomes all levels of sewing skills. Come have fun, learn new skills, and socialize!
