  • In the words of John Saxon, "Algebra is not difficult. Algebra is just different." Students need time to learn new things. After class, each student should leave class with a foundational understanding of the daily topics.
  • Students will be prepared to complete practice problems on their own. I recommend that they complete the practice set (labeled with letters) as soon as possible. Then they should complete the numbered practice problems.
  • Ultimately, I want students to have confidence and begin to love math, like I do. My goal is to see a smile of achievement.
I have been a certified high school math teacher for many years. I currently teach high school math at a university model school. My undergraduate degree is math education. My master's degree is in Educational Technology and Online Learning.
