1-on-1 Tutoring Montessori Math-Concrete Lessons This 40 minutes Montessori Math 1-on-1 Tutoring class is designed to provide your child with a strong foundation in mathematics through a combination of hands-on, multi-sensory and interactive concrete approach. This personalized and age-appropriate program is tailored to children between 4 to 8 years old, who is passionate with numbers and interested to further their math skills. This class welcomes Beginner, Advance, Intermediate and neurodiverse learners! Parents are welcome to choose lesson that they want for their learner to focus on. Weekly lessons had it's own unique variations and extensions. These extensions includes basic (static) addition and subtraction, word problem, games, sensory activities and lots of hands-on activities. • NOTE for neurodiverse learner: Parents will need to invest on a printer, laminating machine, laminating pouch, play-doh, kinetic sand, manipulative. Montessori method is a highly visual and sensory rich environment. In order for your learner to get the most of this journey, we will need all of this materials before the start of the class. NOTE: • Before the start of this 1:1 class, parent will answer questionnaire regarding the learners mathematical skills and learning ability (gifted, advance, average), in order for me to do my initial assessment and to structure and customize the lesson. Beginner, intermediate, advance and neurodiverse students are welcome! PRESENTATION: • Each lesson will be presented using some slides, concrete materials, visual learning tools and other necessary materials to accommodate each students unique learning abilities. LESSON TASKS: • After the presentation, practice worksheets will be provided and/or materials manipulation if available at home. I will also "screen-share" an interactive activity to my student to practice. STUDENT EQUIPMENT/MATERIALS • Student needs to have an access to a mouse and laptop to practice an interactive activity and tasks. • The Montessori physical materials are costly, you do not need to purchase one but if you have the materials at home please let me know. Otherwise, I provide the print version of each materials together with the practice work sheets. • We will use manipulative like: counting rocks, popsicle sticks, counting chips or twigs will do! LESSON: Depending on your learner's pace, we will begin from one of this lessons. • Sandpaper Numbers- Learning to write and recognize numerals 0 to 9. • Number Cards and Counters- Associating numerals with quantity. • Short Bead Stair- Visually represent number values, making abstract concepts more concrete so that children can better grasp mathematical principles. • Number Rods- Help children learn the names of numbers and sequence and learn to correctly associate between the spoken number and its quantity. • Spindle Box- Develops early counting skills and develops the association between quantity and the number symbols 0-9. • Teen Board- Understanding teen numbers and the decimal system. • Ten Board- Understanding ten numbers and the decimal system. • Hundred board- Recognizing numbers 1 to 100. • Golden Beads- Demonstrates decimal system and the concept of place value. Explore larger numbers such as 1000's to 9999. • Addition with Golden Beads- Learn static addition with golden beads. • Telling Time- Clocks provide a concrete way to introduce the concept of fractions. Helping them develop an early understanding of fractions, ratios, and parts of a whole. • Fraction- Introduces the concept of fractions and help learner understand the relationship between parts and wholes. • Money- Exploring the concept of money and basic financial literacy. NEXT STEPS: • A summary of your child's progress and accomplishments will be provided. • Recommendations for further study and reinforcement at home. • Preparing your child for a seamless transition into more advanced Montessori math curriculum (abstract) • At the end of this Montessori Math One-on-One Tutorial, your child will have a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and a strong foundation for continued success in math.

Montessori homeschoolers with math materials is a plus to the learning journey of your child. I will also recommend materials that are needed in this class.
