I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics as well as a Master's Degree in Education with a concentration in STEM. I have created and collected a wide variety of resources to help students engage in a fun and comfortable way while building a strong foundation in mathematics. With 20 years of experience teaching in the classroom coupled with 5+ years of experience teaching online to students with varying abilities and needs, I feel extremely qualified to deliver this instruction to learners via Outschool.

Homework
Frequency: includedFeedback: includedDetails: The student will complete this assignment independently and feedback provided is typically within 24 hours. The time spent to complete homework could range from 10 minutes - 30 minutes, depending on the student's comfort level with the material.Assessment
Frequency: includedDetails: The assessments will be the puzzles students will solve. Students are encouraged to send me the answers to each of the puzzles for grading and feedback, and I will assist in making corrections as needed.
It would be nice for students to have a three-ring binder in order to keep track of assignments and notes each week. I will provide a PDF via Outschool messages that will explain to students what needs to be for the week (objective, discussion question, notes and assessment). A calculator and graph paper would be nice items to have, however, when possible, I will suggest websites that may have the tools that a learner may need (example: online calculators).
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
