Each week we will talk about a new MCU superhero. From Avengers & more! We will talk about heroes like Spiderman, Iron Man, Black Widow, & Captain America. Learners will use social skills and teamwork to answer trivia & Marvel brain teasers

Assignments
1 hour per week. Creative Assignments: Learners will complete various assignments, such as drawings, stories, and crafts, allowing them to express their creativity and apply what they've learned.
Mastery Evaluation
Interactive Quizzes: Fun quizzes will be provided after each lesson to reinforce learning and assess understanding of key concepts related to the superheroes discussed.

Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 3
Beginner - Intermediate Level
Each week, students will explore a different Marvel superhero, learning about their origins, powers, values, and adventures. Activities will include discussions, arts and crafts, games, and storytelling.

Week 1: Spider-Man
• What Students Will Learn: Who Spider-Man is and the importance of being responsible.
• Activity: Draw their favorite Spider-Man scene or create a simple comic strip.

Week 2: Iron Man
• What Students Will Learn: How Tony Stark became Iron Man and how creativity can make a difference.
• Activity: Design their own superhero suit.

Week 3: Captain America
• What Students Will Learn: What it means to be brave and a good friend.
• Activity: Create a paper shield and decorate it with symbols that represent bravery.

Week 4: Black Panther
• What Students Will Learn: The importance of community and helping others.
• Activity: Make a colorful poster about what being a hero means to them.

Week 5: Thor
• What Students Will Learn: Stories of friendship and courage.
• Activity: Share a short story about a time they were brave, either through drawing or verbally.

Week 6: Hulk
• What Students Will Learn: Understanding feelings and how to express them.
• Activity: Draw their own “Hulk” showing their strength, with a caption about what makes them feel strong.

Week 7: Black Widow
• What Students Will Learn: The importance of teamwork and never giving up.
• Activity: Create a simple diary entry imagining they are Black Widow on a mission.

Week 8: Doctor Strange
• What Students Will Learn: The magic of making choices and believing in themselves.
• Activity: Draw their own magical symbol and explain what it means to them.

Week 9: Ant-Man
• What Students Will Learn: How teamwork helps heroes succeed.
• Activity: Create a fun collage of tiny things (like pictures of ants or small objects) that represent Ant-Man’s adventures.

Week 10: Captain Marvel
• What Students Will Learn: The power of believing in themselves and standing up for what’s right.
• Activity: Write a short note to Captain Marvel, telling her what they admire about her.

Supply List
To participate fully in the Marvel Superheroes Adventure course, students will need the following materials:

Art Supplies:
Paper (plain and colored)
Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
Scissors (safety scissors recommended for younger children)
Glue or glue sticks
Cardboard or cardstock for shield designs.

Please check the weekly assignments and bring whatever materials you have to complete the project.

Notebook: A dedicated notebook for writing stories and diary entries related to the course.

Superhero Books or Resources (optional): Any favorite superhero books or comics for additional reading and inspiration.
