•I will teach common phrases used in a supermarket setting and how to respond and ask respectfully and properly. •I will use food props, a mini shopping cart and a shopper so students can imagine they are in a supermarket setting. • I usually start with a calendar, and then we will practice numbers before looking at the shopper. •Students will then choose various items “to buy” from the shopper and make a list to discuss prices. •My teaching style is very dynamic and all students will have a chance to participate. • If a student struggles a little bit, I will help them and remind them they have done a great effort. In my classroom, mistakes are proof that my students are trying.
