A starting activity will be displayed on the screen for learners to start on as soon as they arrive to class. Once we are all present we will work through SAT Math questions in line with College Board specifications. I will offer concrete examples, scaffolding learners to move onto independent work and extension tasks to further deepen their understanding. I aim to give clear and concise instruction so learners can maximise their participation and optimise the learning time available to them.

Learners are invited to share their prior knowledge, questions and answers to promote verbal reasoning and interact with myself as well as each other. A variety of activities will be offered in class, ranging from textbook exercises, additional exam-style questions, Q&A, whiteboard work as well as quizzes and games.

Guiding learners through topic areas they may struggle with through sound questioning is one of my particular strengths. I am professional, friendly and approachable, passionate about Math and young people reaching their full potential.
