WINTER TERM series of 10 classes. Italian level classes for the school semesters have 10 levels. Classes in this program are equivalent to the 4th level of INTERMEDIATE. It includes a series of classes that includes elements of the language, grammar, learning vocabulary and conversation. WEEKLY CLASS PROGRAM: Class 1 - Week 1: Reading and Comprehensions Tests. Review Pluperfect Tense. Class 2 - Week 2: Reading and Comprehensions Tests. Review 'Before + gerund' Class 3 - Week 3: Reading and Comprehensions Tests. Review Combined pronouns. Class 4 - Week 4: Reading and Comprehensions Tests. Review Conditional tense. Class 5 - Week 5: Reading and Comprehensions Tests. Review CI and NE pronouns. Class 6 - Week 6: Reading and Comprehensions Tests. Review pronominal verbs. Class 7 - Week 7: Subjunctive Tense "Congiuntivo" - section 1 Class 8 - Week 8: Subjunctive Tense "Congiuntivo" - section 2 Class 9 - Week 9: Imperfect Subjunctive Class 10 - Week 10: Direct conversation Classes include grammar instruction, as well as basic conversation and activities. As students progress, they read short stories and listen to recorded materials and/or videos. A whiteboard will be used and shared digitally to the classroom for students to learn and review.
Learning Goals
The goal of this class is to continue learning the Italian language. Objective is to help students develop a stronger familiarity and comfort level with speaking and understanding the Italian language.
