They’ll explore how Viking explorers, Roman strategists, and Greek philosophers shaped expressions we use every day, like “your ears are burning” or even the term “Bluetooth.” Through engaging storytelling and interactive activities, learners will: -Decode the Roman calendar and discover how celestial bodies and deities influenced our days and months. -Trace the evolution of idioms and slang, peeling back layers of time to reveal their ancient origins. -Examine how Germanic tribes adapted Roman culture, reshaping the English language into what we know today.
