Hurry up! You only have one week to help Jack and Annie make it back to the tree house before it disappears and they are stuck with scary pirates on an island forever! This SUPER fun, engaging, and interactive escape room has 15 hidden locks for students to find the 15 keys and unlock them. ⚠️Please read book #4 in the Magic Tree House original series: Pirates Before Noon ⚠️This class requires a (free) Google account 🔑 What's so fun? ~using ciphers to decode mystery words ~drag and drop activities ~finding hidden codes ~Kahoot, iSpy, Coloy by Numer, Word Scrambles, and self-checking games ~funny pictures, videos, and gifs! ~Not too difficult, but just enough of a challenge 🔐 Why do parents love it? ~Your kid just read a book - WIN! ~vocabulary and spelling practice ~REstate the Question activities (crucial grammar skill!) ~Reinforcement of plot elements (character, setting, problem, solution, beginning, middle, ending, Who What Where Why When practice) ~designed for independence (clear instructions, small tasks, and some audio support) ~strengthens reading comprehension skills ~listening and following directions practice 🔓🗝 During your week of helping Jack and Annie make it back to the tree house (before it's too late!) students will first receive a link to a form that confirms they have read the book and then gives them their first key. That key will take them to their first activity to complete and solve. Once they solve that mystery, they are given their next key. And so on, and so forth until all 15 keys are found and all 15 locks are unlocked. Students can complete all activities in one sitting, or spread them throughout the week. Love, Teacher Bethanie
