Class Experience

Beginner Level
Let's make some magic! In this kid friendly magic class, students will use the art of "illusion" to create magic tricks that will entertain the whole family. Students will use simple household items and a bit of imagination to create their magic tricks and have a chance to practice each trick in class. This magic class was a hit in our summer camps and we are delighted to provide it as a one time class that can be enjoyed on a rainy day or during the holiday break.

Supply List
If you do not have all of the supplies listed below, there are alternative items that can be used.
- 4 sheets of Construction paper (plain paper and coloring supplies are fine if you don't have construction paper)
- 1 See through plastic container (this can be tupperware, we will use glue on the item, so know that it may not be easy to reuse after class)
- 4 index cards or 3 paper plates ( Paper or Construction paper is fine if you don't have these)
- Small Scarf/ handkerchief (kleenex or facial tissue is also fine if you don't have these)
- Spoon or plastic spoon or (pencil or popsicle stick is also fine if you don't have these)
- Pencil or wooden chopstick (if your child is using a pencil instead of a spoon, then they will need 2 pencils)
- Broken crayon (we prefer that your child doesn't break a non broken crayon for this trick. They can use paper if they don't have any broken crayons)
- Tape (Scotch Tape or similar size tape is ideal but masking tape can also be used. No boxing tape or duct tape)
- Glue stick (liquid glue or tape may be used, depending on the trick; no glitter glue)
- Child safe scissors
