This is a one-to-one tutoring session to help young learners develop and gain confidence in their English writing, spelling and comprehension skills. I also offer phonics and grammar focused lessons.

US Grade 2 - 5
This is a one-to-one class. The learner will focus strengthening their English speaking, spelling and writing structure skills. The learner will also work on their reading comprehension skills. They will be able to review on the grammar they might have learned in school in put in real-time practice. Class sessions will include a number of practical topics. Lessons include: Sight Words Vocabulary Words Sentence Structure Style Reading a short passage that includes the sight words and vocabulary. The learner verbally practice using sentences to display reading comprehension. Writing sentence practice to display reading comprehension. Spelling Practice and Drills 1. Each session will build upon the last session. My teaching style is to patiently listen and encourage the student to speak and write as much as possible. 2. My main goal is that learner will build confidence in reading comprehension, grammar, writing and/or spelling. 3. Learners will get to interact with me the majority of time. There will be a PowerPoint presentation for students to follow. There are interactive activities like Kahoot,and Quizlet. 4. Students will have opportunities to write on the board and participate in interactive activities. *Within 12-hours after each session, I will write a brief report on the child's progress. *Students will need to need knowledge of the alphabet and ability to read in English.
Learning Goals
-Students will improve on their speaking and writing abilities in sentence structure.
- Students will also strengthen their phonics skills to improve their reading
- Students will identify spelling patterns and apply them

Pre-Requisites
Students should be able to read, write simple sentences and communicate with the teacher in English.
