Julie-Anna was a homeschooled learner, now turned homeschool mom. In addition to her role as a homeschool educator, she has taught piano and yoga for years.  She has experience working with children between the ages of 3 and 18 years of age, as well as a variety of neurotypes.  She has worked as a ghost writer, copy-editor, and proofreader. 
Additionally, Julie-Anna holds a B.A. and a Level-5 TEFL certification. Julie-Anna loves teaching creative writing because of her own love for the written word.  Books were her first and lasting love and she never leaves home without a book, a journal, and a beautiful fountain pen.  Some of her favorite authors are C.S. Lewis, Jane Austen, and Charles Dickens.  

Teacher Kate (she/her): Kate is an accomplished filmmaker and passionate bookworm.  She has taught learners between the ages of 2 and 15 abroad in both Germany and Japan.  Kate has a wide foundation of teaching experience from teaching middle schoolers to teaching English as a second language in Tokyo.  She varies her teaching style to meet learners where they are and modulates her approach to suit all neurotypes.  She brings a sense of calm to the classroom that provides an ideal environment for learners to thrive.  Her teaching style is clear, passionate, and supportive.
