US Grade 2 - 4
This ongoing class that meets once a week is a great fit for students who are wanting to gain more knowledge and understanding and strengthen their foundational history or geography knowledge. I present the material in a way that meets all learning styles by verbally discussing the material, often times watching a quick video, and note taking. I feel note taking is a vital life skill and is necessary for the upcoming stages in a person's life. I teach by using a method which allows me to teach the information, as a class we practice, and the student applies what they have learned. This allows me to properly analyze if the student has truly learned the new information. I will post one optional assignment (can post more at request) each week to practice the skill they have learned. I can provide feedback for the assignment as well. Students will strengthen, practice, and learn foundational math skills to be successful in 3rd grade and in preparation for 4th grade.
