In this fun-schooling class, families will need to purchase their own copy of the following:
The Thinking Tree Animal Lover's Fun-Schooling Journal Homeschool Curriculum Handbook Journal for Students Majoring in Zoology. Our maximum class size is five so that all students receive a high level of attention and assistance. 

January start dates work from the beginning of the fun-schooling Journal. Class will meet once weekly with no set end date and complete a minimum of two journal pages to include one animal study from the journal, and one math and/or creative writing prompt. Students can read along with me if they are comfortable, receive assistance with spelling, and copy work from my white board, as needed. Concepts are presented with visuals (animal models, math representations, finding habitats on my globe, etc.) wherever possible.

The journal also contains many other activities that children may work on throughout the week if they'd like (art prompts, video summaries, nature studies, and more). Every student will have the opportunity to share what they know and ask questions. 

There will be no graded assignments. Homeschoolers, unschoolers, and afterschoolers are all welcomed! Class is easily adaptable to meet a variety of student needs and abilities. Students can write and draw as much or as little as they are comfortable with, revisit recordings after class as needed, and ask questions any time.
