In this course we will be using Minecraft to learn all about different animals and their habitats. We will be building their habitats during class ; making our own minecraft zoo! 

Each week we will pick one new animal to learn about. A list of animals can be found below. If students wish to change the animal and all agree then the list can be changed.

Class will begin by learning about our animal and it’s habitat. We will learn about the animal in real life vs Minecraft to be able to better understand how to build their habitat. 

We will also learn about  but the minecraft version of the same animals and compare and contrast the differences or similarities. 

Students will then be allowed to build during class. I will be available for any questions and they can talk amongst each other discussing what they are building. At the end of class we will all share our builds. 

Students can build in creative mode.

Week 2: Pandas 
Week 3: Polar bears 
Week 4: Squid 
Week : Ocelot 
Week 6: Chicken 
Week 7: Ender Dragon 
Week 8: Pig  

Students will be able to do A short build challenge at the end of class if they still have time. 

We will also be including Nearpod in some classes to incorporate fun games for learning about but the animals.
