このクラスで学べること

In this one time class, students will have fun chatting and sharing about the popular television show "Parks and Recreation." Students will discuss favorite characters, episodes, and will be guided in making connections and identifying themes in the show. We will also use Kahoot to play review games and compete against others in the classroom. This will be a fun, laid back class. 

Students will need an additional device to play Kahoot. Because of the discussion nature of this class, we may go slightly longer or shorter than the posted class time, depending on the number of students.
Parks and Recreation is a popular TV show sitcom that contains some mature humor. Parental discretion is advised.

I received my degree in science and social studies education, and spent a year teaching 2nd grade. My passion is to make learning fun, exciting, and surprising. I believe that developing a curiosity and joy towards learning brings fullness and zest to life! I offer a variety of classes at different levels. In my free time, I enjoy crafting, being outdoors, and dancing!

Class Policies:

1. My goal is to keep classes close to the scheduled amount of time. However, classes with talkative students or low enrollments may go slightly over or under the allotted time.

2. If no learners are in the classroom, I will wait 10 minutes before exiting.

3. Classes will begin on time. If I am not in the classroom on time, I am having technical issues and will adjust the time accordingly. 

4. I will try my best to honor transfer requests. However, I will not make transfers within 2 hours of  the class start time. Thank you for understanding.
