Exciting ESL Classes for All Ages!

Welcome to our fun English as a Second Language (ESL) tutoring sessions. The classes are designed for learners of all ages and skill levels! Our focus will be on conversation, with personalized lessons tailored to improve speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.

My Educational Background: 

-Teaching license from 3 states in the USA, including MI, IL, and CA. 

-Special Education License in IL. 

-Bachelor's degree in General Education

-Master's degree  in Special Education
 
-Mental Health First Aid Certification 

-Crisis Hotline Training 

Teaching Experience: 

-10 years of General Education  
-3 years of Special Education 
-6 years of teaching ESL 

I have been teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to refugees in Turkey, Germany, and the Middle East since 2020. 

I worked as an ESL teacher with 51Talk for two years, where I taught Chinese students of all ages a range of general subjects in English. I successfully conducted over 1,000 classes and was honored with an award in recognition of my dedication and accomplishments in teaching.

What will be taught in this class? 

Subjects/topics can be taught according to your request. 

Each class will cover different topics and themes, focusing on developing key skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

For Example: 
 
First Week: Greetings (Informal & Formal) 

Second Week: Describing Family  

Third Week  Describing where you live 

Fourth Week  Explaining daily activities 

How is the class structured? 
1. Check-in. 
2. Follow-up from the previous session 
3. Go over the objective/topics 
4. Mini-lesson and explicit model.
5. Independent practice or work together 
6. Questions or concerns 

A break will be given whenever necessary. =)

How will I teach? 

Personalized Learning

I will provide personalized support tailored to the learner's needs and educational goals. With individualized attention and creative teaching methods, we will make learning fun and easy together. 

I will ask the parents or learners what teaching methods are most effective. Some of my teaching methods include collaborative, inquiry-based, and game-based learning. 

What is my teaching style and teaching method? 

Holistic approach to teaching, while using the Hybrid teaching style. 
Again, I will ask the parents and the learner's preference first.
