Students will learn how to seem to read another person's mind. The volunteer freely cuts the cards, looks at the selected card and buries it into the deck, then loses it deeper with even more cuts. The volunteer sends a mental image of the card, and the magician reads the volunteer's mind. Students will learn to demonstrate what it would be like if mind reading were possible. This is a professional quality mental magic routine that I personally use, yet is easy to learn, and gets jaws dropping. Your young wizard will seem to be able to read another person's mind and name a secretly selected card that the spectator "mentally" (telepathically) sends. Perhaps most important, the young magician will learn how to be a fun wizard, how to be entertaining and amazing, beyond just being tricky.
The student will need a deck of cards in good condition. For smaller hands, "Bridge" size cards are preferred over "Poker" size.
