Throughout the 24 lessons below, I will introduce 40 sight words and several CVC word families
Prior to Lesson #1 , children will receive lower alphabet letter flashcards AND list #1 of sight words. 
I encourage that your child review homework  
10 minutes/day.  You will need a printer to print out some of the reading homework.

These are the 40 sight words that will be introduced throughout the 24 lessons:***
"a, and, away, big, blue, can, come, down, find, for, funny, go, help, here, I, in, is, it, jump, little, look, make, me, my, not, one, play, red, run, said, see, the, three, to, two, up, we, where, yellow, you"
***IF YOUR CHILD CAN INDEPENDENTLY READ LESS THAN 50% OF THE LISTED SIGHT WORDS, THEN, THIS CLASS IS SUITABLE FOR YOUR CHILD.  IF YOUR CHILD CAN READ THE MAJORITY OF THE LISTED SIGHT WORDS, THEN THIS CLASS MAY BE TOO EASY FOR YOUR CHILD.
